Power of sun

2018 - Format HD - length 21'10 - Inde (Leh)

Angmo and Tashi lives in the mountains of Himalaya. They sometimes to have to miss the school to fetch some wood. When they meet two other children who seem to live in a different house, who use no more wood for the heating, Angmo and Tashi is decided well to go to see what it is all about.

Because the villages of the Himalayas are often remote and isolated, the inhabitants exert pressure on already scarce natural resources to heat themselves or use polluting fuels. However, these regions have an advantage that could allow its inhabitants to significantly reduce their impact, to save money but also to better protect their health: 300 days of sunshine a year. This film shows the different techniques to benefit from it.
