Protection of young girls and human trafficking
Lost Generation

     2018 - Format HD - length 24' - Inde (Gorakhpur)

Girls from poor countryside in India have little chance of living their dreams. Anantha, 12, knows it. So when a man from the city takes an interest in her, and considers her a princess, Anantha is determined to follow him and change her life. A trap that every year in India closes on thousands of girls like Anantha.

In India, one child disappears every eight minutes. Only half of them are found within three years. This phenomenon is sometimes too little known, especially since the families who are victims of these disappearances do not always know where to find the help they need. Finally, a better understanding of the risks can help protect against them.
